After receiving his degree in tourism, Peter entered the architectural program at the “José Maria Vargas University” of Caracas, and later moved to the “Santiago Mariño University” of Valencia. His inspiration during these years was strongly based on the work of French architect Jacques Rougerie focusing on the balance between built space and conservation of the natural environment. his projects therefore had a strong ecological component thus resulting in the development of infrastructure for natural museums and national parks with a strong emphasis on regional culture. some of the titles of these projects were: marine museum and oceanarium, park for the natural sciences, ecological coastal cabana, housing desert, convertible catholic church, among others. Peter graduated magna cum laude in 2004 after receiving the highest honor of mention publication on his thesis dissertation where he created a multi-purpose concession area for the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
